The Great Taste Awards, often referred to as the ‘Oscars of the Food World’ sets high standards in the world of fine food and drink. Over 500 judges, including food writers with some of the fussiest palates in the industry, come together to sample over 12,000 products, which are then scored purely on taste.
At this year’s event, second time winner SugaVida Cardamom Turmeric Latte scooped two stars after the judges commented,“Just the right sweetness, all the ingredients have their moment in the flavour without one being dominant, tastes freshly ground and beautifully combined. The cardamom and black pepper heat are a cracking finish“.
